It's been WAY too long since our last blog post, I know. But in my defense, things got crazy and then I got SICK! Not just *cough* *sniffle* sick, like, I missed an entire stinking week of work SICK! And things were rough for a bit there, taking care of the kiddos, who were sick off and on in there too, but we're feeling MUCH better now! And things seem to be getting back to "normal".
I know everyone's been missing the babies, so let's just get to some pictures...
We had Hunter's Baptism in January and had our first gathering in the new house. Things turned out very well and everyone who came seemed to enjoy themselves! Shoot ... I've been VERY bad ... I still have to put addresses on the thank you notes and get them in the mail. I finally got them all written and they are still sitting in the box waiting for addresses and stamps!! Looks like I know what I'll be doing this week!!
Here's a picture of the family with the Godparents ... Uncle Joey and our good friend, Kristina Chlebowski.
The rest of the pictures are kind of random ... I didn't feel like re-organizing after I finally got them to upload. I know, getting lazy in my old age!

Our little snow bunny! Addisyn was so happy to get outside. This girl doesn't care if it's 9 below or 90 degrees outside. She has some serious cabin fever and I can't wait for it to get warm out so we can go outside and play! |
 |
Riding on the tractor with daddy! Addisyn LOVES the tractor! |
 |
Here are my little cuties reading a book. I love Hunter's laugh! It's so contagious!! |
 |
A close up of Hunter talking. He's such a sweet baby!! |
 |
I laugh every time I see this photo. We had to leave the bottom shelf of the pantry open for little Miss Addisyn. I was cleaning the kitchen one night and turned around to find that she had taken all of the formula containers (and everything else) off her shelf so she could use it to eat her snack!! Here she is waving "Hi" to the camera! |

Anybody notice anything wrong with this picture?!? |

Sitting in the high chair like a big boy! Hunter is so stinking cute, I can't stand it!! |
 |
Here's a good picture of Hunter's signature Hair-do! |
 |
This child LOVES pickles!! |
 |
Hunter and G'pa blowing raspberries at each other. |

Ha ha! Addisyn is wearing mommy's dress shoes and Hunter's hat! No wonder the poor boy can't see when he wears it...it's all stretched out from someone's big head!! |
 |
Daddy and the babies! |
 |
This one cracks me up! Hunter was laughing and laughing (never mind daddy had a good hold on his arm-pits)! |
 |
Mmmmm .... nacho cheese and breadsticks! |
 |
Daddy and Hunter watching TV. Hunter is so captivated by the television ... must be all the colors and flashing lights! |
Okay, a quick update on the kiddos...
Addisyn is getting to be quite the big girl. She is definitely a McNeely ... she knows what she wants and she wants it NOW!! She's added quite a few words to her vocabulary lately. I think her first "official" word that you could clearly understand was "cheese". She signs and says "more" and "please" very well now. And Eric taught her to say "love" (still a work in progress). She also knows what the dog says (woof) and what the cow says (Mmmmmm) - can't quite get out the oooooo. LOL. And she has a bunch of other words that she's been saying for a while now (or at least her version) ... Ball, Balloon, Dog, Ya, NO, Eyes, Nose, Mouth (and she knows where her hair, ears, teeth (she chomps like she's eating), and her belly button and toes and knees are ... Oh, and she learned Doooown --- cause that's what she tells Suzie when she wants the girls to lay down! Ah, one more ... Tutu ... thanks to JJ and Niki, who brought her the cutest purple tutu when they came to visit!!
But the biggest step for her has been trying to go to the potty on the big girl potty. She's started to tell us when she needs to go (more times than not, it's that she's just gone), but I'd say that she's gone at least one time on the potty each day for the last week. Progress!! :)
And our little Hunter ... he's getting so big!! He's been such a trooper with all his sister puts him through. She sure loves her brother, but she forgets that he isn't as big and strong as she is!! Hunter does pretty well with tummy time ... he can roll from his belly to his back pretty easliy now. But he hasn't managed to get all the way over to his belly from his back yet. He mostly turns on his side and chomps on his toys when we have him on his play mat. He will reach for and grab objects you put in front of him and he spends a lot of time looking at and playing with his hands. He can even pass a small object from one hand to the other now. And he loves to take paci out and look at it and sometimes he can get it back in his mouth!!
We've started to feed him rice cereal (when we can -- little miss has to have some too, so it just makes the process longer). He's doing okay with it at home and daycare said he's doing pretty well there too.
And the best highlight for mommy ... he's started to sleep about 5 hour stretches at night, so we're not getting up every 2 hours to eat anymore (knock on wood because I probably just jinked myself - being that I started updating this over an hour ago after he went to bed).
Speaking of which, I need to get off here and get some sleep while I can!
I promise to do a better job of keeping up now that we're settling down. Everyone have a good week (or two)!!
The last picture Eric and Hunter have the same look on their face!!! HAHAHA!!
