A LOT of Catching Up to Do!!

Oh heavens, time sure got away from me this time.  It's been sitting in the back of my head that I haven't updated the blog since Addisyn's birthday.  That was back in September!!  Here it is, New Year's Eve...and what better way to kick of the new year than to finish off the blog for this year.  BTW, Happy Early Birthday to ME -- 2 kiddos in bed by 8:30pm!  Score!!

Okay, so let's see if I can give you all the condensed version (the highlights) and see how long this turns out.

First, Hunter turned 1 back in October.  My little boy is growing up too fast!

Hunter's Elmo Race Track Cake

The birthday boy enjoying his cake!!  Such a cutie pie!!
Hunter had an awesome time at his party.  We spent the day with lots of family and friends and had a super time catching up with everyone!!
One of Hunter's favorite presents was his truck!  Here he is beeping the horn.  Afterwords, he would throw kisses and Addisyn would tell us bye-bye and that they were going to Papa's House.

Next was Halloween.  We decided to take the kids trick or treating in the old neighborhood.  Addisyn was our little ladybug and Hunter was none other than a little devil.

Aren't they the cutest little things you've ever seen?!?
So sweet!!  Hunter was having a blast looking at everyone going by!
Thanksgiving came quickly and we spent the weekend at G'ma and Papa's house.

Here's Hunter enjoying a donut for breakfast.  Little stinker had to have the whole thing.  He sure likes his chocolate!!

Little miss Addisyn sat on the couch next to Papa and ate hers.  That thing is almost as big as she is!!
Another month flew by and before we knew it, we were back at G'ma and Papa's house for Christmas.  Friday, when we got into town, we got cleaned up really fast and headed over to Uncle Duane and Aunt Joanne's house for the Gettler Family Christmas Party.

Here's Addisyn and Papa hanging out at the party.  They match!  :)

Baby Charles wasn't impressed at all with the visit from Santa.
Addisyn and Hunter weren't so sure about Santa either.  However, by the time Santa was finished handing out presents, we had to pry Addisyn out of his lap.  As we were walking out to the car to leave, she kept insisting that she wanted to go back inside to see Santa!!

Uncle JJ and Niki got the kids tickets to see Sesame Street Live for Christmas!  The kids were troopers and took naps in the car on the way to Joliet to see the show.  And the little guys lasted most of the show before they got super fussy.  Addisyn was so excited to see Elmo that she stood on my lap and kept whining "I wanna hold/hug Elmo".  I thought for sure she was gonna drive the guy in front of us nuts!!  Needless to say, she had a good time.

Waiting for the show to start!

Hunter was so excited to see all the characters.  He sat on uncle JJ's lap and ate his goldfish and clapped and had a great time!  Thanks Uncle J! :)

The friends on Sesame Street singing with their new neighbor, Jenny!

A few more shots from the weekend...

Little miss Addisyn cheeseing for the camera!

She was also playing Mother Hen and handing out puffs to Hunter and Charles to eat.  Hey, at least they were sharing, even though she insisted on being in control of the container!!

The boys were loving the big truck!  It has a button on it and when you pushed it, the truck would rumble and then drive across the room.  LITERALLY, across the room.  I've never seen a toy go that far before.  But it kept them entertained for quite some time!!

Hunter was SO cute - he was dancing to the music that was playing on the Saxaphone!!

Peek-a-boo!

Addisyn LOVES her new Cinderella Doll!!

Presents from Santa!!
Santa brought Addisyn a baby stroller, complete with a baby carrier, diaper bag and potty for her dolls.
Hunter must have been a pretty good boy too, cause that's one good looking Truck!!
The ball pit for Charles was a big hit too!

Well, I think that about wraps it up.  And look at this, it's even before Midnight!!

Best wishes to all for a Happy and Healthy 2012!!

Love,
The McNeely's
