6 and a Half Months

Watch out world, here she comes!!  Our little pumpkin figured out how to roll from her back to her belly ... daddy said he watched her roll across the living room floor the other day.  She's so funny to watch ... sometimes she can get her legs up under her and other times she gets her chest pushed up off the floor ... but she hasn't quite figured out how to do them both together... but it won't be long and she'll be moving and shaking all over the place!!

Addisyn's first experience with a teething biscuit - mommy forgot how MESSY these things are, but they are sooooo good!!

6 months old

Okay, so mommy's been slipping on the blog these last few weeks.  But for good reason - we've been getting the house ready to put on the market and with any luck, it'll pay off.  We have our first showing tomorrow at 12:30 and then an open house from 1-3.  Bring on the buyers!!

Addisyn's added some new skills to her toolbox ... she started squealing which is just hilarious to listen to!  And she's started to wave at people now too (so cute)!!  She's also eating lots of new foods... green beans, peas, carrots, butternut squash (she really likes this one).... and pears and her favorite by far ... BANANAS!!  :) 

And she LOVES her daddy!  He makes her laugh so hard.  We went shopping the other day and got her an Easter basket.  Daddy liked the doggy and rabbit ones - they both had floppy ears - but he let Addisyn pick which one... he would hold them in front of her and say doggie doggie doggie doggie doggie ..... rabbit rabbit rabbit rabbit rabbit ...... doggie doggie doggie doggie doggie .... well, doggie got the most laughs, so we bought that one. LOL.

Daddy also took her to the doctor for her 6 month checkup and shots.  She now weighs 15 lbs 4 oz and is 26 inches long!!  The doctor loves her big blue eyes (who can blame her)!!!
