21 Weeks

Addisyn had another full week.  We had our first playdate with Addisyn's friend Emma.  Mommy forgot her camera - oops!! So no pics from our playdate, but there will be plenty more.  Emma is signed up to go to the same daycare as Addisyn, so little Emma will hopefully see a familiar face this week when her mommy goes back to work. 

Mommy and Daddy came down with the flu (or something awful) Friday evening, so Mommy texted Grandpa for reinforcements after being up sick all night and Addisyn went to spend the weekend in CP so she didn't catch the nasty bug.  While she was there, the grandparents discovered a bottom tooth (or two).  Mommy hasn't seen pics or witnessed for herself yet, so we'll just have to see about that.  LOL!

5 Months Old!!

Addisyn turned 5 months old this week!  I can't believe how fast time has flown!!  She is so much fun and has such a sweet personality!  This week her baby babbles sound more like da da da da da and I still think she gets an I Love You out every now and then.  You would not believe how persistent she is - stubborn just like her mommy and daddy - boy are we gonna have our hands full!  And she fights sleep like nobody's business - afraid of missing a single thing.  But she is the sweetest when she wakes up.  Doesn't cry at all...just lays there and plays with her baby doll or talks up a storm!

Gonna watch the game with Mommy!  We cheered and yelled at that Defense, but they just couldn't pull it out!  Mommy's take on the game:  The Saints played to win...the Colts played not to lose... Better Luck Next Year!!

We tried Oatmeal for the first time this week.  Addisyn LOVES this stuff.  Mommy couldn't feed her quickly enough!!

LOL! Daddy put the Godiva chocolate bow on baby's head again.  She is soooo sweet!!

Looking at that silly Grandpa!  G'ma and G'pa came to watch me on Friday so I didn't have to go to daycare... I think they needed a baby fix. :)

Getting all squeaky clean in the bathtub.  Grandma said that she let me sit up like a big girl this time and I splashed water all over the place!!  I sure do love my baths!!

19 Weeks!!

Addisyn got to spend the whole week with daddy this week since he was off work!  They had the best time playing at home and running errands.  Addisyn loves to laugh when daddy "quacks" at her!  I swear the girl is going to scare off all the ducks when he takes her hunting b/c she's just going to giggle when she hears them! 

Baby doll is also starting to make more babbles that sound like words this week.  I think I might have heard a "Da" at some point.  And Eric called me at work to tell me she was laying in the basinette pulling the blanket up over her face saying Da Da Baby ... I translated for him ... she was saying, Where's the baby?!?  Since daddy loves to put the blanket over her eyes and say Where's the Baby and let her pull it down and squeal There She IS!!  :)

Uncle Justin put together my Jump-a-roo for me!!  It didn't take me long at all to figure out that just a little jump jump makes the lights go on and the music play!  I'm such a smart girl!!
